H.02 Sempione, Milano

Milanese apartment from the mid 70s in Parco Sempione area. The intervention aims to trace a clear but at the same time light division between the living area and the kitchen. A solid oak wood frame, covered with ribbed glass, defines an autonomous full height volume that crosses the room.

The working area, completely covered in brushed stainless steel, contrasts with the warmth of the oak used on the counter on the living room side, to underline the functions of the two areas. Two portions of the window slide laterally allowing the passage of food and connecting the rooms. The storaging part is integrated into the columns, in chromatic continuity with the walls.
