Memphis - Post Design

Interior micro-architectures that, in addition to responding to specific practical demands, evoke the quintessential skylines of a metropolis, suspended in time and locked into the collective imagination.

The metropolis collection consists of seven limited edition items, each in 25 numbered and signed pieces: bookcase, desk, horizontal and vertical wall units, coffee table, wardrobe and console.
Precious walnut wood volumes, framed in black-varnished reticular structures, stretch through space in increasingly different ways.

The collection's pieces do not explicitly disclose their function, but remain suspended in an ambiguous enigmatic dimension.
The compartments' purpose is disguised by the absence of handles, replaced here by small black-varnished eyelets that discretely hint their opening.
